We offer high-end Aluminum-Wood windows made of combined profiles of the AluWood system, combining the best qualities of three materials: the beauty of natural wood, the strength and durability of aluminum and the ability of polyamide to retain heat. This combination of three materials in one profile of the window/door system is considered the most progressive and has undeniable advantages over any known modern wood, metal-plastic or aluminum systems.
On the interior, wood is a natural material with good heat-insulating properties, architecturally expressive, perfectly combined with any interior details.
On the exterior, aviation-grade aluminum a weather-resistant and very durable material, which is the basis for fastening fittings, glass units, which does not require special care of the surface and periodic painting, which is inevitable for the outer part of wooden windows. In between, polyamide insulation joining wood and aluminum into a single profile.
Are wood or wood-aluminum clad windows a good fit?
Modern wooden windows have many undeniable advantages. The tree has an image of a beautiful, expensive and prestigious material. Well-crafted wood is superior in terms of aesthetics, design and interior beauty. However, from an engineering point of view today, wood is not the best material for making windows.
A wooden window has poor climatic resistance, even modern paints and varnishes cannot effectively protect wood from exposure to sunlight, water, acid precipitation, salt fog (important in coastal areas), frost. Therefore, the service life of wooden windows without losing their original quality readings is severely limited. For these reasons, wooden windows have to be restored or protected from the outside with aluminum strips.
However, the experience of operating such windows has shown that despite the seemingly unchanged appearance of the window, the destruction of the protective layer of wood also occurs under the aluminum linings, but somewhat more slowly. And it is imperceptible visually, because covered with overlays. The main reason for the destruction of the protective paint and varnish layer of wood is the high number of transitions through the zero degrees mark on the exterior. It may happen from 20 to 70 times per year based on the region.
A new innovative product – tilt and turn aluminum-wood windows (not wood aluminum clad windows):
Experts noticed that in conditions of high humidity and salt fog in coastal sea regions, where high-end wood – aluminum clad products are especially in demand, the destruction of the protective layer of wood under the aluminum linings can occur even faster than without them. Wood is a porous medium capable of absorbing and releasing moisture, while changing its geometric dimensions, which painfully affects the corner joints of window frames and leads to a loss of strength of the wooden structure as a whole, and eventually destruction.
Realizing the impossibility of finding one universal window material, the designers came to the conclusion that the way out is to create combined window constructions from different materials, each of which will show its best qualities in them.
The constructive solution of the AluWood system guarantees high operational and energy-saving properties, ideal aesthetic perception, as well as a long service life of the windows.
